AESC: a wave of recruitment in Douaisis
The AESC gigafactory will manufacture its first electric batteries for Renault in March 2025. Who says new industry, says new jobs. Thus, Pôle Emploi Douai and AESC carry out training work upstream so that the company has trained staff on D-Day. In recent months, nearly 40 technicians will sign a permanent contract this month within AESC in order to to pursue a work-study bachelor’s degree.
Currently the company is looking for more than 20 tool and die makers and wishes to recruit 450 operators and line drivers from June 2024.
